Review:

So without giving away too many spoilers, I'll start with I had some difficulty getting into this book. Originally I didn't know anything and purchased it due to really liking the cover and it being priced well on book outlet.
It took multiple attempts to get into the book, but it starts off well enough. You get introduced to Ruth who is a widow and living on her own. She one night thinks she hears a tiger within her home and contacts her one son. From there is what starts to set the story into place.
You then get introduced to Frida who is a government sent caretaker.
The story then for me hit some high and low points getting you into the two intertwining stories of Ruth and her slowly deteriorating state of health and then Frida who you are unsure off her intentions as she tells her story to Ruth.
It has some old love interest and backstory to Ruth which can be fine to read.
All and all the further you get into the book the more you can be sure of what the final outcome is going to be for our two main characters.
I rated this 3.5 stars because although I had a hard time getting into certain parts of this book when I really did get into it, it was good. The writing wasn't overly amazing to me but was captivating. And once you got towards the end of the book I felt like you didn't want to put it down as personalities were changing and things were spiraling into a very interesting direction.
